INTERIOR DESIGN
THE BRIEF
People Make Places was challenged to bring the Digital Hub to life with an interior fit out, visual language and branding that reflected the environment and laidback lifestyle of Noosa, while creating a space that inspires the next wave of tech entrepreneurs to imagine the future.
Custom LED screens evoke nature and future.
THE RESPONSE
"Grounded in the future" was our guiding theme. Natural materials including timber, indigenous planting and shades of teal reflect the environment and offset the futuristic elements of LED, Perspex, metal and neon. A lean budget inspired our "makeshift" approach, encouraging collaboration, the use of re-imagined materials and as a place-making tool, a gentle invitation for residents to make their own mark as the space grows and evolves.
Indigenous planting and sustainable hardwood evoke a sense of place.
THE AUGMENTED ART STADIUM
An augmented reality mural and stadium forms the backdrop to the co-lab space, inspiring play and encouraging users to interact with the space.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
The interior design, logo, custom font, way-finding and language strategy was designed to tell the tech story, evoke the relaxed lifestyle and engage a diverse audience from tech start-ups, government, the public and school pupils.
